Chris Froome’s Tour de France journey has come to an end as the rider will not be present in the eighteenth stage today. He has been infected with Covid -19.
His team, Israel–Premier Tech, confirmed the news via social media. "Unfortunately, Chris Froome will not start in the eighteenth stage because a test - done shortly before the start - showed that he has contracted corona,” writes Israel-Premier Tech.
