Caja Rural rider Josu Etxeberria in intensive care following training crash

Caja Rural - Seguros RGA have been heavily involved in Operation Ilex in past few weeks, and more bad news emerge. One of it's riders, Josu Etxeberria, has suffered a hard training crash and is currently in intensive care.

The Spanish team shared a message this Wednesday night, telling that Etxebarria suffered an accident whilst training. He presents several injuries and is currently in intensive care at the Navarra hospital. Luckily, the team report that the 23-year old is conscious and is moving his arms and feet.
