Team SD Worx has extended the contract with Blanka Kata Vas and
Anna Shackley. Both riders will be a part of the team until 2024.
Vas chose to extend with the team for its home-like atmosphere and comfort. "I didn't have to think long when I was able to extend my contract," explained Vas. Aside from comfort, the team also provides her with the opportunity to grow big as a rider in various disciplines. "Within the team, I can continue to do the combination of road, cyclocross and mountain bike. Thus, next year I will ride a little more mountain bike races with a view to qualifying for the Olympics in Paris in 2024.”
She continues, "This season, I rode a pretty full road program for the first time. I learned a huge amount. I haven't yet figured out where my biggest opportunities on the road actually lie. Although I do have a preference for the one-day races."
Anna Shackley is an upcoming rider with great potential. Having joined the team last year, she has made a significant contribution and continued to impress with her performance. "I made nice progress in 2022. In the hill classics and in the heavier round work, I come into my own best. Certainly, my results in the fall were good. That gives a lot of motivation going into the winter towards the upcoming season. I am enjoying myself at Team SD Worx. I am developing well here. There is also a good team atmosphere between the riders and the staff. I feel at home here," concluded Shackley.
