The BEMER Cyclassics will be organized from 2024 by the GRF, the German division of the ASO. The three major competitions in Germany – the BEMER Cyclassics, Eschborn-Frankfurt and the Deutschland Tour – will all fall under the Amaury Sport Organisation.
"We are very pleased to now be able to include the BEMER Cyclassics among the competitions we organize," says Yann Le Moënner, CEO of the ASO. "Germany is one of the most important areas for the ASO. We want to further develop the sport here, after we revived the Deutschland Tour in 2018 and we also organize Eschborn-Frankfurt, which attracts thousands of enthusiasts every year on May 1."
The BEMER Cyclassics Hamburg was first organized in 1996, under the name HEW Cyclassics. Later the competition was called Vattenfal Cyclassics and EuroEyes Cyclassics, among other things. The last edition of the WorldTour one-day in Hamburg was won by Mads Pedersen. Next year the competition is scheduled for September 8.
