Jumbo-Visma's spring core is early for 2024. Wout van Aert and his companions for the classic season explored several races on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Wednesday it was time to explore next year's Tour of Flanders.
In addition to Van Aert, who has returned from a trip to Colombia and is currently also preparing for a short cross winter, Christophe Laporte, Mick van Dijke, Tim van Dijke, Edoardo Affini and newcomers Matteo Jorgenson and Loe van Belle explored some of the famous Flemish roads in a ride of over 140 kilometers.
On Saturday, the group of the Dutch formation, which will continue as Visma-Lease a Bike from next year, rode a training tour from Ghent to Waregem. Dwars door Vlaanderen has been finishing in the latter place for many years. Tosh Van der Sande was also at that training.
