- Narvaez put the hurt on Jonas, just before Tadej attacked. Would love to see Lipowitcz challenge for second place.
- It is what it is. No excuses!
- So far the Tour de France has been exactly the same as the preparation races. I think it would be good for Jonas to work with Florian. There were only around 10 seconds separating them in the end, so together I think they could have limited their losses better.
- Having already won a Tour or two, what, in the end, is more important to you and your legacy? A third title, or someone seen as an honorable person who won the right way? I hunt, and the concept of "fair chase" is ingrained in hunters, or it should be. The same in any sport. The venison doesn't really taste all that good if taken legally but unfairly.
- What? Healy and Simon Yates rides in stage 11 have been among the most exciting of the race.
- Surprised if any team thought Col du Soulor would be a good place to attack. It is not a difficult climb, though it is pretty.
A couple days back, I guessed Pogačar would win GC by 8+ mins. Hate to say it, but the Froome years were more exciting.
- Teams were never going to make much of a difference on a climb like this. Having Jorgenson or Kuss beside him when Tadej attacked wouldn't have helped Jonas much if at all. And Narvaez was just a luxury for Tadej. With the strength tadej had today he would have rode everyone off his wheel anyhow
- It wasn't Healy that interfered with Pogacar!
- Narvaez put the hurt on Jonas, and then Tadej dropped him. Brilliant! Where was the powerful Visma team when they were needed most?…Off the back!
- Definitely, this Jonas is not the Jonas 2022. The Jonas of 2022 would have arrived with Tadej.
