I will be in Adelaide in a shot if Pogi comes to the Tour Down Under. Fingers and toes crossed that this will eventuate, he has just got to remember to stay aware of kangaroo’s, as Jay Vine can attest to. Though can’t be any worse than some of the passionate fans in Europe

Really? I am sick and tired of the negative and defamatory comments like yours about pro-cyclists and their teams. Whether you like UAE or not, we don’t want to hear about your negativity about this wonderful sport. In fact I can’t remember when you last posted something positive. You should be enjoying what great joy the sport provides to the fans and not always commenting on your unfounded and unproven thoughts.

SBS Australia have the best commentators with Matthew Keenan, David McKenzie and Caleb Ewan. They are also joined by Dr. Bridie O'Donnell and Simon Gerrans. Matt’s knowledge of cycling is brilliant and they are all easy to listen to and provide great banter during the race. What’s more, SBS is free to air so we are very lucky here in Oz.

Beautifully said Riccardo. I find it sad that someone of De Vlaeminck’s standing in the cycling world, would need to insult today’s peloton and in particular Pogi and what was the point behind those insults. Where would we be in this world if we didn’t accept the changes that the modern era has brought us in everything we do in life.
