One of the most recognized sprinters in road pro peloton, Fernando Gaviria, is planning a comeback to his track roots. The Colombian was already on the vegre of becoming an Olympic medallist in 2016, before transfering to road.
With new goal in mind and seven years later, Gaviria will try to qualify for Olympic Games in Paris 2024 and the chase for points will begin soon in Argentina.
Pan American Track event will be held between June 14 and June 18 in San Juan. Gaviria will try his legs in Madison and Omnium, while in Elimination Race he will seek to prove that he's still got that kick that made him World championship at a time.
