Zoe Backstedt and Femke Beuling reveal to be a pair in an Instagram post

Zoe Backstedt and the Dutch Femke Beuling are a set, the two ladies announced on Friday evening via Instagram. The two were teammates at EF Education-TIBCO-SVB last year, but will no longer ride together in the team next year.

Backstedt, who is of course also active in the field this winter, rides contemporary for Canyon/SRAM. The 19-year-old talent competes every week with the best riders in the world. The 23-year-old Beuling, who has not been spent much team in the cycling world yet having come over from ice-skating, will ride for VolkerWessels next season.

Beuling was a very talented ice-skater in the past, but had to say goodbye to that sport after the emergence of the 'mop foot' phenomenon. The Dutch lady then focused on cycling, where she competed for the American formation of Backstedt from April this year.
