Mathieu van der Poel has continued his electric winter of cyclocross. The world champion has added another win to his palmares at Superprestige Diegem.
With an impressive startlist, many of the disciplines biggest names were in action. After a cagy opening however, none could follow once van der Poel launched his attack with just over 4 laps to go.
Behind van der Poel, the battle for second was much more exciting with Eli Iserbyt and Tom Pidcock battling it out. In the end, it was the Brit who took second spot on the podium.
