Fem van Empel has taken another dominant victory, continuing her perfect start to the cyclocross season at Superprestige Boom. The World Champion took the win by over a minute clear of her rival Puck Pieterse.
Nine wins from nine rides this winter for van Empel now. The Dutchwoman was simply a cut above the rest in Boom, as another faultless performance secured her yet another stunning victory. Although Pieterse did make a couple of slight errors, crashing at one point, as she tried to force the pace whilst chasing her compatriot, she was still more than comfortable in second as Annemarie Worst completed the podium.
