Denise Betsema has won the Superprestige Ruddervoorde. She beat Inge van der Heijden in the final lap and secured victory. This is her first victory of the season.
Van der Heijden had a nice start while Betsema and Alvardo trailed behind her. Soon Alvardo was having trouble keeping up with the duo. Betsema took advantage of this and managed to take the lead from Van der Heijden. Betsema continued to lead till the final lap where she crossed the finish line first and secured the victory. Despite her best efforts, Van der Heijden finished second and took the silver. Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado soon finished after the duo and took the bronze.
