Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado romps to first victory of the season at Superprestige Ruddervoorde

Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado has romped to a dominant victory at Superprestige Ruddervoorde, taking her first win of the season.

With world champion Fem van Empel absent, there was a golden opportunity for someone to take a big victory early in the 2023/24 campaign. Both Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado and Annemarie Worst seemed intent on taking that opportunity and the duo began to pull away from their rivals.

Into the second half of the race though and Alvarado had begun to ride clear solo. From there, there was no catching the Alpecin-Deceuninck star as she romped to a comfortable victory with Worst and Marion Norbert Riberolle completing the podium.
