"Win the Tour of Flanders, a stage of the Tour, being a medalist at the Olympics..." - Valentin Madouas clear on his goals

A big 2024 could lie in wait for French national champion Valentin Madouas. The 27-year-old has three big targets in his sights.

“At the start of the season, the objectives will be the Classics, with the Flandriennes and the Ardennaises like in past years, but being more consistent and stronger," the Groupama - FDJ star tells Cyclism'Actu from his team's presentation ahead of the 2024 campaign getting underway.

Looking further ahead to the summer and a home Olympic Games in Paris following the always important Tour de France it could be a massive few weeks for the man who proudly wears the French tricolor every time he takes to the bike.

"And then, it will be the Tour de France and being selected for the Olympic Games," Madouas says of his summer targets. "Win the Tour of Flanders, a stage of the Tour, being a medalist at the Olympics... these are career goals," he concludes optimistically.
