"We have three leaders who can all win the Vuelta" - Marc Reef on the leader situation within Jumbo-Visma after time trial

Marc Reef looks back optimistically on the time trial in Valladolid. The Jumbo-Visma team leader sees that Sepp Kuss still has the leader's jersey and praises Primoz Roglic's performance.

"Kuss is still more than a minute ahead of Evenepoel and Roglic has done a great time trial. He only lost twenty seconds. It goes without saying that we are in a great position," said Reef at Eurosport. "We had only hoped for less time loss with Vingegaard, but he gave everything and fully focused on the time trial. His terrain, the high mountains, are yet to come. That is why we should not draw too many conclusions from this time trial."

Reef means by this that his team should not immediately designate a leader for the rest of the Vuelta after a time trial. "That is too easy, because then it would be Primoz after his good time trial. We said this morning that we have three leaders who can all win the Vuelta."
