Tom Pidcock was a surprise late addition to the
INEOS Grenadiers lineup for
Paris-Roubaix 2024. A winner of the junior edition, this marks the first time the Brit has tackled the elite race.
With Alpecin-Deceuninck setting an infernal pace on the front throughout the day so far and the average speed looking like records could be broken, Pidcock, seeing the TV camera pointing at him, showed he was feeling the effects by mimicking a motorbike throttle with a hand gesture. After the disqualification of his teammate, Joshua Tarling, Pidcock also now stands as INEOS Grenadiers best hope for victory this Sunday afternoon.
