Everyone expected it, but not even a late crash could stop Tadej Pogacar powering to a stunning solo stage win on the mythical slopes of Oropa on stage 2 of the 2024 Giro d'Italia.
Moving clear on the final climb, the likes of Ben O'Connor and Geraint Thomas attempted initially to follow but before long, the UAE Team Emirates leader was all alone solo. In the end, it was 27 seconds by the line, see Pogacar's brutal attack for yourself down below!
