One of the most action-packed, drama-filled Tour de France stages in recent memory. Stage 14 of the Tour de France was enthralling as Carlos Rodriguez took a maiden victory as Jonas Vingegaard extended his overall race lead by a single second.
The drama started straight from the flag drop as a mass crash saw the race neutralised for around 30 minutes with numerous riders being forced to abandon the race. The battle between Vingegaard and Tadej Pogacar came to life on the final climb of the day before there was some motorbike-related controversy at the top of the climb as they battled it out for the bonus seconds on offer. Then on the final descent to the line, Rodriguez caught and overtook the two GC leaders to take a breakthrough victory.
