Tadej Pogacar had one of the best seasons in the cycling history last year. And in 2025, he'll start even better geared up thanks to a pinnacle of Italian engineering - the brand new Colnago Y1Rs model. While the public will only get their hands on it in May, the Slovenian rider will already hope the Y1Rs will be what allows him to finally triumph at the
Milano-Sanremo.
"Designed to defy the wind, the ultimate expression of aerodynamic efficiency," Project Engineer Filippo Galli told
In de Leiderstrui about the new Colnago model. "This bike is built for optimum performance in the fastest races, combining all the advanced technologies and design for sprinters and attackers."
The team around the Slovenian phenomenon are confident that they have found the perfect weapon for rolling terrain: "Tests in the wind tunnel have shown that the Y1Rs save 20 watts at a speed of 50 kilometers per hour."
