The yellow jersey was the big goal for Tadej Pogacar in this Tour de France, however besides two stage wins he leaves with an historic feat, one perhaps that he never really payed much attention to, but that is the fourth time he conquers the youth classification in the race.
Jan Ullrich and Andy Schleck held the record until the Slovenian came along, and last year in Paris Pogacar took his third youth classification victory. This Sunday he is set to improve on his record and become the first rider in Tour de France history to win it four times - although this is only the second time he wears the jersey into Paris, having worn yellow in 2020 and 2021.
