Stefan Küng gets a premium chance to deliver a Tour of Flanders victory for Groupama - FDJ

Sunday might be a bigger day for Groupama - FDJ than it may seem. With so many Tour of Flanders favourites licking their wounds or even completely out of the competition, Stefan Küng may emerge as the strongest man in the race. Of course, if he can beat the man in rainbow - Mathieu van der Poel.

One part where the French team may struggle is the support for their Swiss leader. While Laurence Pithie proved to be in great shape at races prior to Dwars Door Vlaanderen (where he DNF'd), Valentin Madouas has been flying under the radar, even if 13th place at Dwars suggests the French champion could be a valuable asset on Sunday.
