Start Times & Order World Championships 2026 Montréal men's U23 time trial 2026

The men’s Under-23 individual time trial at the 2026 UCI Road World Championships in Montréal takes place on Monday, 21 September, with 72 riders set to battle for the rainbow jersey.
Indonesia’s Deska Raya Adya will be the first rider down the start ramp at 17:58:30 CET, while Belgium’s Matisse van Kerckhove has been given the final starting position and will begin his effort at 19:45 CET.
The riders will start at 90-second intervals, with many of the strongest names packed into the final part of the order. Hector Alvarez, Nicolas Milesi, Ben Wiggins and Matisse van Kerckhove occupy the last four positions, while a number of highly rated young riders feature immediately ahead of them.

The final ten starters begin with Ireland’s Adam Rafferty at 19:28:30 CET, before Dutchman Michiel Mouris rolls away at 19:30. Germany’s Bruno Kessler starts at 19:31:30, with Arthur Blaise of France at 19:33 and Denmark’s Mads Landbo at 19:34:30. Kasper Haugland follows for Norway at 19:36, before New Zealand’s Reef Roberts and Australia’s Thomas Waites take their places on the ramp.
The final four then contain some of the most recognisable names in the U23 field.
Great Britain’s Ben Wiggins starts at 19:40:30 CET, followed by Italy’s Nicolas Milesi at 19:42. Spain’s Hector Alvarez is the penultimate starter at 19:43:30, before Belgian Matisse van Kerckhove brings the start order to a close at 19:45.
Elsewhere, American Ashlin Barry begins at 19:25:30, while Canada’s Jonas Walton starts immediately before him at 19:24. Australia also has Cameron Rogers off at 18:55:30 and William Holmes at 19:12.
