Primoz Roglic came out victorious from otherwise uneventful
Giro d'Italia, beating the then Maglia Rosa wearer Geraint Thomas in the final timetrial up Monte Lussari. With this, the
Jumbo-Visma rider took a revenge for painful defeat by Tadej Pogacar on La Planche des Belles Filles in Tour de France 2020.
Roglic's Grand Tour victory didn't go unnoticed in his native Slovenia and one of the funniest things witnessed was a highway electronic traffic sign which read: "Leave the racing to Roglic," asking all the road pirates in English to drive safely.
