The FDJ-SUEZ team announced the signing of promising Dutch athlete, Lauren Molengraaf, for the 2024 and 2025 seasons. Only 18 years old, Molengraaf is already a rising figure in cycling, distinguishing herself on the road, in cyclo-cross and in mountain biking.
"We are excited about the potential she brings to our team, especially as she is still discovering her strength on the road. Our commitment to her symbolizes not only our vision of women's cycling, but also our confidence in emerging talents," Stephen Delcourt, team manager, shares his optimism.
This partnership with Molengraaf is part of an unprecedented tripartite collaboration between Intermarché-Circus-Wanty, FDJ-SUEZ and Lapierre-Mavic Unity. This alliance symbolizes the forward-thinking vision shared by these three entities for cycling, striving to push established boundaries to provide the best possible environment for talents like Molengraaf.
"It’s a fantastic opportunity to join a Women’s World Team, a great team like FDJ-Suez. In addition, the team gives me the freedom to combine three disciplines. I can count on their full support to prepare me for all my goals. This is a great show of confidence. For a young rider like me, it’s incredible," Molengraaf adds.
