- I agree but have a far more flexible view of the financing. Contracts are flexible, Seixas and Decathlon can make this win-win by staying humble a year or 2 longer. He’s not going to lose value and a buyout clause wouldn’t alter any future salary offer so both get something out of raising his value down the line. If he’s “sold” fast, Decathlon will of course encourage him to do the Tour prematurely as is their right, in order to recuparate what’s possible, at the expense of whoever buys.Mistermaumau11-04-2026

Front24211-04-2026 - Seixas should stay at Decathlon. He has clearly developed well there. At UAE he would be in Pogacar's shadow. INEOS haven't produced a GT winning rider in a while. Bora already have enough GT leaders and should be setting aside money to extend Lipowitz as the top German in the sport. Decathlon and other french sponsors should be forking out the bill as it should pay them back even if the contract is €8-10m a year.cyclingmathematician11-04-2026

- If Seixas had a great team behind him, he would just be in the wheel after stage 2, and take the GC victory with 35%. Since he is young, has the spirit of Pogi, not boring like Jonas Hansen, the danis 🐟. Seixes wastes energy unnecessarily on every stage, but puts on a show for the audience.
