Jury & Fines UAE Tour 2025 | Update stage 7 - Intermediate sprint hassle leads to another yellow card

Throughout the 2025 UAE Tour, the race jury attributes fines to some of the riders and sporting directors. Ultimately the fines can come in the form of money, time penalties or even UCI points, depending on the rule breaking. Here we present what has happened during the race.
Stage 1
Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin-Deceuninck): Deviation from the chosen line in a sprint and endangering another rider. Relegation; 500CHF fine and 5 points penalization in points classification.
Stage 2
Nothing to note.
Stage 3
Bruno Armirail (Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale): 'Sticky Bottle'. 500CHF fine. Case refers to stage 1.
Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale DS Cyril Dessel: 'Sticky Bottle'. 500CHF fine.
Jack Rootkin-Gray (EF Education-EasyPost): 'Sticky Bottle'. 500CHF fine.
EF Education - EasyPost DS Tom Southam: 'Sticky Bottle'. 500CHF fine.
Tobias Lund Andresen (Team Picnic PostNL): 'Sticky Bottle'. 500CHF fine.
Team Picnic PostNL DS Roy Curvers: 'Sticky Bottle'. 500CHF fine. & 500CHF fine for unidentified rider disposing of waste outside litter zone.
Stage 4
Nothing to note.
Stage 5
Lidl-Trek staff member Daniele Gaetano: Non-compliant position during feeding. 200CHF fine and yellow card.
Stage 6
Danny van Poppel (Red Bull - BORA - hangrohe): Deviating from chosen line during a sprint endangering another rider. Relegation, Yellow Card, 500CHF fine.
TV Moto Langeberg: Failing to respect instructions of the organizers. Yellow card and 500CHF fine.
Kobe Goossens (Intermarché - Wanty): Urinating in public. 200CHF fine.
Elmar Reinders (Team Jayco AlUla): Urinating in public. 200CHF fine.
Stage 7
Djordje Djuric (Team Solution Tech - Vini Fantini). Irregular sprint at intermediate sprint. Yellow card, 500CHF fine, 2 point penalization in points classification and 2 point penalization in intermediate sprint classification.
UAE Team Emirates - XRG staff member Ziga Jerman: Non-compliance of rules during feeding. Yellow card and 200CHF fine.
Team Jayco AlUla staff Frederic Gualdi: Non-compliance of rules during feeding. Yellow card and 200CHF fine.

- Regarding one point in the article: Vingegaard and Pogacar raced against each other at Monuments in the past - Il Lombardia and Liege, from 2020 to 2022. Pogacar's results are 3, 1, 1, and 1, while Vingegaard's are 84, 28, 14, and 16, respectively in the same races. But Vingegaard hasn't raced a Monument since 2022.RidesHills01-04-2025
