Jonas Vingegaard beats Oscar Onley to take third stage victory in CRO Race

Jonas Vingegaard has secured the third stage of the CRO Race. There was a prediction of rainfall but thankfully no rain showers today. The race went smoothly, with Vingegaard beating Oscar Onley on the final climb. This is his first victory after Tour de France.

The breakaway included Manuele Tarozzi, Mark Christian, Nik Cemazar, Tobiasz Pawlak, Viktor Potocki, Vedad Karic and Mathias Reutimann. The group worked together to create a gap of 2 minutes and 20 seconds.

The group was caught 50 kilometres before the finish. There was an intense battle to take the lead among the teams, but no one was able to create the gap. Jonas Vingegaard once again delivered for Jumbo Visma and beat Oscar Onley to the final climb of the stage. Onley, despite his best effort, got silver. Matej Mohoric took the bronze.
