Iljo Keisse eyes one last victory in Six Days of Ghent before his retirement from professional cycling

Taking part in his final Six Days of Ghent in his career will be Iljo Keisse, along with Jasper De Buyst. He is still vying for an 8th overall victory in the 100th edition of the Six Days of Ghent.

In the past, Iljo Keisse has won the Ghent Six Days with Matthew Gilmore in 2005, Robert Bartko in 2007 and 2008, Peter Schep in 2010, Glenn O'Shea in 2012, Michael Morkov in 2015, and Elia Viviani in 2018.

Jasper De Buyst is not someone to be taken lightly, he proved his creditibily with his performace in 2013 and 2014. He secured silver last year with his partner Roger Kluge.

A special gala evening at the Kuipke in Ghent will mark Iljo Keisse's farewell to cycling four days after the Six Days of Ghent. The ride will include top riders like Filippo Ganna, Mark Cavendish, Michael Morkov, Fabio Van den Bossche, and Jasper De Buyst.
