"I have to thank Pavel Sivakov" - Tao Geoghegan Hart repays teammates hard work with second Tour of the Alps stage win

Tao Geoghegan Hart took his second Tour of the Alps in as many days and in his post-race interview the former Giro d'Italia winner was full of praise for his teammates.
"I think I have to thank Pavel Sivakov, he made it very easy by riding so fast," the leader of the Tour of the Alps said following his second stage win. "Without that experience it would have been harder to keep the group together, so he did a great job. The same goes for Ben Swift, who led the way all day."

"Thymen Arensman also looked good again after he felt bad on Monday," Geoghegan Hart continues extending his praise to the Dutchman also. "It showed how much strength and talent he has," says the Brit who has now achieved half of his eight career victories at the Tour of the Alps.
"I only had to sprint seventy metres, so yes... we'll start again on Wednesday, on a longer climb. We'll see how it goes," the INEOS Grenadier rider concludes.

- He actually took a pay cut when transferred to Visma; he was the star at Jayco for years, he moved because a different team structure could improve his chances and they both got the benefits of the transaction.
