Yesterday was one of the, if not the best day for Eritrea in road cycling history. After Biniam Girmay conquered Gent-Wevelgem in spectacular fashion, over in Egypt the African Continental Championships took place where the nation has taken another high-level win as Henok Mulubrhan took the win.
The 150-kilometer race saw the rider from Bike Aid take the win. The 22-year old has taken the biggest win of his career after showing potential over the last few years. He beat former Team Qhubeka NextHash rider Reinardt Janse van Rensburg and Algerian Hamza Amari who took the remaining medals.
