FDJ United-Suez has secured one of the biggest commercial partnerships in women's cycling after announcing Red Bull as a major partner and official energy drink supplier ahead of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes. The agreement marks the first time Red Bull has partnered with an entire Women's WorldTour team, providing the French squad with access to the company's renowned performance expertise while reinforcing its ambitions to remain at the top of the sport.

A landmark partnership for women's cycling

The announcement was made on the eve of the Tour de France Femmes, with FDJ United-Suez riders debuting new Red Bull-branded helmets during the opening stage. While Red Bull already backs several individual riders, such as Canyon-SRAM's Zoe Bäckstedt, this is the company's first full-team partnership in women's cycling. The squad's name will remain unchanged for the time being.
Team manager Stephen Delcourt described the agreement as another significant milestone in the team's long-term development. "We are delighted to welcome Red Bull with us, and this partnership is the pinnacle of all the structuring and development efforts we have tirelessly invested in over the past years," Delcourt said.
He also highlighted the shared philosophy between both organisations. "What brings FDJ United-Suez and Red Bull together goes beyond the pursuit of performance alone. We share the determination to challenge established models and conventions, to innovate, and to imagine new ways of advancing and telling the story of our sport."
He added that unveiling the collaboration at the Tour de France Femmes made the moment even more meaningful. "Seeing this partnership come to life at the Tour de France Femmes is a truly special moment for our team, France-based with international ambitions. It marks a new step in our development and perfectly reflects our ambition: to keep progressing on the road while daring to push boundaries beyond it."

Vollering excited about the collaboration

Demi Vollering will be one of the first FDJ United-Suez riders to compete wearing the team's new Red Bull helmet and admitted she was enthusiastic about the new partnership. "It's cool, no? I really like it, it's a special helmet."
The Dutch star stressed that the relationship extends beyond a traditional sponsorship. "It's a new sponsorship for the team, a partnership I have to say, because it's really a partnership. We'll work together. It's an exciting thing."
According to the team's official announcement, the collaboration will also give FDJ United-Suez access to the Red Bull Athlete Performance Center, allowing the squad to benefit from the company's expertise in sports science and athlete development.
The team explained that the long-term agreement is intended to further improve its performance programme and continue driving innovation in support of its riders.
The partnership begins immediately at the Tour de France Femmes, where FDJ United-Suez is once again targeting overall victory with Vollering after another impressive season, in which she has won Giro d'Italia Women, Liège-Bastogne-Liège Femmes, La Flèche Wallonne Femmes, Volta Femenina de la Comunitat Valenciana, Omloop Nieuwsblad and Ronde van Vlaanderen.
Vollering also finished in the podium in Dwars door Vlaanderen and Amstel Gold Race Ladies Edition. Strade Bianche Donne is the only race in which Vollering has not made it to the top 3 this season, as she finished in 20th place.
