The spring classics will conclude on Sunday with 'La Doyenne'. The oldest monument in the cycling calendar. The course is similar to previous editions. Once again, La côte de la Roche-aux-faucons (1.3 km at 11%) is the final climb, just under 15 kilometres from the finish in Liège.

After victories in the Amstel Gold Race and Flèche Wallonne, Tadej Pogačar could provide a special performance. Only Davide Rebellin and Philippe Gilbert won the entire Triptych in one spring. However, Pogačar would have to deal with last year's winner Remco Evenepoel. The world champion already attacked on La Redoute and put down an impressive solo.
