The Flèche Wallonne is the second race of the Ardennes Triptych. With perhaps the most iconic finish of all races: the Mur de Huy. A short, steep climb where the riders crawl to the line. In the final 500 metres, the road rises up to 20 per cent.
After the display of power in the Amstel Gold Race, we don't have to look long for a top favourite. That, without a doubt, is Tadej Pogačar. Yet the Slovenian has never turned out in the Flèche Wallonne in the past. In three previous participations, he did not get beyond 9th place. Will Pogačar hit the mark this time?
