The British rider, who races under a French licence, carried his end-of-season form into 2024, as he took the victory at the Trofeo Calvià in his first race of the year. Meanwhile, Carthy also had a strong start to the season, as he finished sixth overall at O Gran Camiño with a third place finish on the final stage.
With both riders set to race the Giro d’Italia in May, they will be looking to hone their form ahead of the first Grand Tour of the season, with the
Tour of the Alps regularly being used by many riders as a preparation race for the Corsa Rosa.
They will be supported by Jefferson Cepeda, Georg Steinhauser and the experienced Esteban Chaves, along with neo-pros Jardi van der Lee and Markel Beloki.
