Pidcock & Van der Poel unable to threaten victory as Victor Koretzky wins Olympic MTB Test Event in Paris

Although both Tom Pidcock and Mathieu van der Poel both have high hopes of taking Olympic gold at the Paris 2024 games on the Mountain Bike, neither were able to feature strongly in the finale of the test event.

For the Dutch, world road race champion 28th position was he could muster on the day. That was still a more positive performance than Pidcock's however who was further back and near the rear of the race. In the end, Victor Koretzky was able to reign supreme ahead of Anton Cooper and Nino Schurter.
