Tom Pidcock adds Baal to his calendar for extra meeting of cyclocross' 'Big 3'

Cyclocross fans will be delighted to hear that an extra meeting of the so-called 'Big 3' has been added the upcoming schedule as former world champion and INEOS Grenadiers star, Tom Pidcock has been confirmed to start at the X2O Trophee in Baal.
Both Mathieu van der Poel and Wout van Aert had long been known to be in action in Baal whilst the race was initially missing from the winter program of the Brit. As reported by various outlets however, a change of heart from the 24-year-old will now also be in attendance.
Although the 'Big 3' being in attendance brings some undoubted star power to Baal, the truth of the matter is that throughout the winter so far van der Poel has been dominant. Although he will certainly hope for more, for Pidcock it may be a case of racing for second once again.
