Simone Petilli has extended his contract with Intermarché-Circus-Wanty by two years until 2025. The Belgian team announced the contract extension on Monday with a fun video in which the Italian makes '25' with pasta.
Petilli has been racing for the Belgian team since 2020. The 30-year-old rider mainly works for his Intermarché teammates, but occasionally also achieves results himself. For example, he finished ninth in Strade Bianche in 2022.
The Italian is currently riding the Vuelta with Intermarché-Circus-Wanty. On Sunday the team with Rui Costa won the stage to Lekunberri.
