Pogacar's Monument-winning Colnago and McNulty's signed rainbow jersey up for grabs in USA Cycling's auction this week!
Cycling
Tadej Pogacar's race-ridden Colnago, signed rainbow jerseys of United States' fresh world champions Ashlin Barry and Brandon McNulty, and many other prized items will be auctioned off this week in USA Cycling Foundation's annual auction aiming to raise funds to support American cyclists on their road to Los Angeles Olympics in two years' time.
The importance of this auction is that in the United States, home athletes do not receive any funding from the government, leaving preparation for big goals such as Olympic and Paralympic Games up to their own expenses and/or private sponsors (such as trade teams do in road cycling).
The first items in auction go live on Wednesday, November 4 with the auction running through to Monday, November 9. A total of 99 items, including non-materialistic experiences such as a ride with (former) professionals Keegan Swenson, Christopher Blevins and Alexey Vermeulen, are listed.
However the highlight of the auction has to be Tadej Pogacar's world champion edition Colnago V5Rs. The special aspect about this particular model is that it's precisely the one Pogacar rode to victory at Liège-Bastogne-Liège in 2025. Donated by Colnago, the bike is valued at $80,000 and will go live on Friday with a starting bid of $25,000.
An educated guess based on the previous auctions of Pogacar's bikes suggests the price could go as high as $150,000-200,000.

More than bikes and kits
For supporters who are less of a cycling fan, non-cycling items such as sports and concert tickets, holidays and hotel stays will be available as well.
"Our athletes are proof of what private support can do," said Molly Pickall, the USA Cycling Foundation's executive director.
"In Paris, American women won every one of Team USA's Olympic cycling medals. LA28 is the first Summer Games on home soil since 1996, and we want to arrive with the strongest team we've ever fielded. This auction gives every fan, anywhere in the country, a way to be part of the Foundation that supports USA Cycling."

- his Roubaix win was amazing. not to take anything away from him - arguably one of MVDP's wins was at the expense of a WVA flat - but so many things need to line up to get one of these.
