Team SD Worx - Protime's Lorena Wiebes has taken victory at Classic Brugge-De Panne WE 2025, after an incredibly dramatic finale saw impressive British 18-year-old Cat Ferguson's long-range solo caught inside the final 3km.

Millie Couzens and Elena Pirrone formed the break of the day after a short fight in the early stages, but the peloton refused to give the duo much leeway at all, holding them inside the one minute mark for pretty much the entirety of their time out front. At 45km to go, both were swallowed up by the bunch. The next rider to attack was Movistar Team's British teen sensation Cat Ferguson. At 20km to go, the 18-year-old was around 18 seconds clear.

Incredibly impressively, Ferguson was still dangling around 10 seconds as she headed into the final 5km. By 3km, the Brit's lead had been cut to 6 seconds though, and with 2.5km to go, she was caught. From there, the sprint was inevitable and in that fight for the line, it was the big pre-race favourite Lorena Wiebes who soared to the win ahead of Chiara Consonni and Elisa Balsamo.
