TDT-Unibet has announced its selection for the Tour of Antalya on its social media platforms. The team built by former cyclist turned YouTube star, Bas Tietema, has managed to gain recognition as a ProTour team in a short space of time.
TDT Unibet thus starts its 2024 season with participation in the Tour of Antalya, which will occur from February 8th to February 11th. It starts with a 135km flat stage, stage two has a few climbs to overcome, with stage three seeing the riders cross the finish line in Tahtali on a 6.9km climb at 9.1% and the final stage, which also includes a few climbs, will offer a finale that is predominantly downhill.
Hartthijs de Vries and Martijn Budding, two riders from the TDT-Unibet team, already rode in the previous 2023 season and are also part of this year's line-up, but the rest of the team are newcomers. Cedrik Bakke Christophersen from Norway, who is regarded as a mountain specialist, Jelle Johannink and Owen Geleijn from the Netherlands, Axel Huens from France and Briton Charles Paige make up the full team.
