Stage 4 of the 2025 Tour de France is taking place this Tuesday afternoon, with an exciting finale expected in Rouen. Before the riders have even arrived however, there has been drama.
According to a report by Valeurs and 76actu, earlier on this afternoon, a man with a knife was arrested by police on the scene at the finish line. This happened around 3:30 p.m. local time, about two hours before the Tour de France riders were expected. The police union Alliance Police Nationale also reports that an officer was injured.
It is not clear what the man with the knife intended to do, and as this is still a developing story, not more is known currently. As more information develops however, we will as always, endeavour to keep you all up to date.
