Pascal Baudron clearly views women as second class citizens. With the attitude he is displaying, he needs to be removed as race director immediately. It is outrageous that Baudron is now doubling-down with statements like "...the girls have requirements that are not in line with their level". The teams are only demanding for safe conditions to race. As with ANY organized race, they just need pedestrian and vehicular traffic to be re-routed in an areas through which they are racing, for the time they are racing. That is the LEAST a race director can do to ensure the safety of everyone. Pascal Baudron needs to check his attitude and do his job to keep everyone safe. If he is unable or worse unwilling to do so, he should be fired immediately. He also needs to be contrite and apologize, as his statements are insulting to everyone, particularly to women.
