The seemingly inevitable attack of Tadej Pogacar on La Redoute has come at Liege-Bastogne-Liege 2024. With 35km to go, the Slovenian has decided the time is right to make his move.
As soon as the UAE Team Emirates leader stepped on the pedals he began to power clear of his rivals. Richard Carapaz was able to follow initially but soon, even the Ecuadorian was dropped as Pogacar powered clear solo. Notably, the likes of Mathieu van der Poel and Tom Pidcock were nowhere in sight as Pogacar summitted the climb already around 20 seconds clear. See for yourself down below!
