Puck Pieterse enjoyed her road campaign: "It is great fun to be at all these races and experience this"

The flying Puck Pieterse will lead the charge of the rest of the world against SD Worx - ProTime ladies on Sunday's Tour of Flanders. Pieterse herself can go completely all-out as for the multidiscipline star, the big Classic will mark an end of her successful road season. From next week, the 21-year-old will turn the switch and fully focus at MTB at Paris Olympics.

"I'm happy with how my legs were," said Pieterse in an interview for WielerFlits. "It has been a successful road campaign so far. It is great fun to be at all these races and experience this as a kind of intermezzo."

"For me, Ronde is my last race of my road campaign," Pieterse explained. "After that I will focus on mountain biking again. I will have to be especially attentive on Sunday and move along with the attacks as much as possible. But on the other hand, I shouldn't be afraid to go on the attack myself."
